The work involved includes requirements support for the structural, mechanical, utility, and related requirements of building, repairing, and modifying Naval communications facilities for the Navy and Marine Corps.
The objective of this contract vehicle is to provide essential repair and maintenance work to several communication towers throughout the Continental United States. A critical aspect of the contract is the coordination of tower equipment down-time. The primary purpose of the towers is to house equipment used during naval air range exercises. However, equipment on towers varies by location. Some towers house equipment used by first responders and/or equipment by other federal agencies.
